Citiri — About Us
About Citiri

Making sure the world's critical infrastructure opens ready — and operates with confidence.

Citiri helps the owners and operators of critical infrastructure optimize and accelerate operational readiness, so complex facilities, systems, and services open on time and deliver the reliable, high-quality performance people depend on.

Open on time. Operate with confidence.
Why we exist

Building it is not the same as being ready to run it.

The delivery and service quality of the world's infrastructure shape our quality of life and our competitiveness. It is not enough to build more — projects have to open on time and then perform.

The blind spot is operational readiness: the owner's work of governing SOPs, training, systems integration, problem-solving, operational trials, and handover. When that work is informal or invisible, openings slip and service suffers. Citiri removes those blind spots by improving observability, decisions, and actions — reducing risk, protecting schedules, and maximizing project value and operational performance.

Checkpoint 0

There is one low-lift, low-risk window to capture, govern, and structure the operational data every intelligent-operations initiative depends on: the capital program itself, where that data is born. Miss it, and by the time anyone realizes the data is gone, the project has closed. Citiri meets that prerequisite at the only point it can be met.

Why we started

It started with a family, a delay, and a question.

In the 1990s, our founder, Ortez Gude, faced a family medical emergency — and found that the care his family needed wasn't available close to home, because a hospital's expansion had been delayed by more than a year. His family had the means to travel across the country for treatment. He never stopped thinking about the families who wouldn't. How could a poorly managed construction project put lives and livelihoods at risk?

He changed careers to answer it, spending years mapping why infrastructure projects fail to open and perform. The finding was counterintuitive: the decisive failure points sat not with contractors, but with the owners and operators — who lacked practices and tools built for their side of the work. Citiri was founded to give them those.

“We're changing how the world's critical infrastructure is planned, delivered, operated, and experienced. The people and organizations responsible for opening and running it carry an enormous weight — often without the tools their work demands. We come to work to give them our best, so the places and services people depend on open on time and operate with confidence. When we get that right, the difference isn't abstract: it's better, safer, more reliable service for people and the planet — today, and for the generations who come after us.”

What we do

CitiriOS: the Owner Scope Management platform for operational readiness.

CitiriOS brings SOP development, familiarization and training, systems integration, problem-solving, operational trials, and handover governance into a single Readiness Room — surfacing risk, accelerating issue resolution, and giving leaders a hard-nosed, evidence-based view of reality, so pivotal go/no-go decisions rest on proof rather than conjecture.

Ready Score

An AI-powered readiness score, computed continuously across every workstream.

Risk Engine

Compound risk surfaced before it reaches the critical path.

Readiness Room

One shared, governed view of readiness — not forty spreadsheets.

Evidence Packs

Audit-ready go/no-go packages, with a defensible evidence trail.

Stakeholder Engagement

RACI made systematic — every stakeholder on one readiness view.

Opti

An AI intelligence layer that informs decisions — human-in-the-loop, explainable, with zero data retention.

Checkpoint 0 is the Phase 1 foundation. As the platform grows, OpsCenter harmonizes readiness data with capital-program and live operational systems — governed and AI-ready — so operators reach intelligent operations without creating new data silos.
Who we serve

Built for the owners and operators of critical infrastructure.

The teams accountable for opening and running mission-critical facilities, systems, and services — the owner's side of the work, across the sectors the world depends on.

Investors

Backed by partners who believe in the mission.

We're proud to be supported by investors who share our conviction that operational readiness is owner-led work worth building for.

What we value

How we show up for the work.

Own the Results

We take personal responsibility for outcomes, not just activity.

Growth Mindset

We question the status quo and relentlessly pursue improvement.

Team First

We win together; the mission comes before the individual.

Let the Music Play

We keep the work energizing, creative, and human.

Strive to do Good

We measure success by the good our work puts into the world.

How we operate

Twelve Fundamentals we run on.

These are the behaviors we hire for and hold ourselves to — the day-to-day operating standard behind "open on time, operate with confidence." If they sound like how you already work, you'll feel at home here.

01

Do the Right Thing

We do the right thing in every action and decision. When we get it wrong, we own it, apologize, and make it right.

02

Honor Commitments

We do what we say, when we say. If a timeline has to move, we give early notice and a clear reason.

03

Have a Bias for Action

We decide well and move. Our customers carry mission-critical deadlines, and they feel us working the problem with urgency.

04

Pay Attention to the Details

From a customer's name to the color on a logo, details matter. We're fanatical about accuracy and ship work that's customer-ready.

05

Look Ahead and Follow Up

We solve problems before they happen — anticipating needs, tracking commitments, and closing the loop. We're paid to finish, not just to start.

06

Communicate With Our Tone of Voice

Every message sets a tone. We communicate with professionalism and empathy — especially when something has gone wrong.

07

Get Clear on Expectations & Find the Root Cause

We create clarity up front, over-communicate expectations, and keep asking "why" until we reach the real cause.

08

Make Quality Personal

We take pride in everything we touch. If our name is on it, it's our best work.

09

Relentlessly Pursue Improvement

We're never satisfied with the status quo. We question requirements, remove waste, optimize, and automate.

10

Find a Way

We take responsibility for making things happen — looking for how we can, not why we can't. Resourceful, proactive, outcome-focused.

11

Be Organized & Operate Autonomously

We manage many priorities without dropping them, keep our systems clean, and lean on AI and automation to do our best work.

12

Keep It Fun

Hard work should be fulfilling. We keep perspective, don't take ourselves too seriously, and celebrate the wins.

If this is how you like to work, we should talk.

We're building the team that gives infrastructure owners the practices and tools their side of the work has always lacked. If you want to own outcomes, move fast, and do work that matters, come build it with us.

Where we're headed

Infrastructure that opens on time, operates with confidence, and runs on trusted data.

A future where delays, poor service quality, cost overruns, and avoidable disruptions are the exception — because readiness is governed, evidenced, and owner-led from the start.

Open on time. Operate with confidence. Run on trust.
