Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for Data Centers — CitiriOS
Data Centers · Integrated Systems Testing

Integrated Systems Testing, governed to Ready‑for‑Service.

Your commissioning team runs IST (Level 5). CitiriOS governs the owner’s side — witnessing the campaign, accepting each script as evidence, and gating beneficial use on it.

What IST is — and whose job is whose

Level 5 proves the systems fail over. It doesn’t prove you’re ready to accept them.

Data‑center commissioning runs L1 (factory) through L5 (integrated systems testing) — the pull‑the‑plug scenarios that prove utility, generator, UPS, and cooling ride through failure together. The testing is the commissioning agent’s to perform. Deciding it’s enough — accepted, current, and gated to beneficial use — is the owner’s.

Delivery scope — performing IST

  • The CxA and integrators execute the L1–L5 scripts.
  • Results land in a commissioning report and a binder.
  • Proves the installed systems meet the design intent.
  • Doesn’t, on its own, authorize beneficial use.

Owner scope — accepting & gating it

  • Witness the campaign and capture each script as evidence.
  • Accept results through review — expired or partial stops counting.
  • Tie an IST pass to the RFS / beneficial‑use gate as Go/No‑Go.
  • Hold a defensible record for the lender, insurer, and tenant.
The path

From test script to beneficial use.

CitiriOS carries the owner’s thread from a witnessed script to an authorized handover — with the delivery hand‑off marked, not blurred.

How CitiriOS governs it

IST isn’t a product — it’s a job these capabilities do.

CitiriOS doesn’t perform testing. It governs the owner’s witnessing, evidence, and gating — through the capabilities below.

Opti can reconcile witnessed results against the test plan and flag scripts that block the gate, with cited reasoning — people accept the evidence and make the RFS call.

Govern your IST campaign to beneficial use.

Book a demo built around your Level 5 campaign — witnessing, evidence acceptance, and the gate to Ready‑for‑Service.

IST, Level 5, commissioning levels (L1–L5), Ready‑for‑Service, and beneficial use are data‑center industry terms. CitiriOS governs the owner’s witnessing, evidence, and gating — it does not perform commissioning or testing, and integrates with your CxA’s tools. Ready Score is a CitiriOS capability. Opti suggests and cites; people accept evidence and decide. Figures shown are illustrative.
